2007 Jumpstart the Conversation Grants

In 2007, Partners for Livable Communities and MetLife Foundation handed out 16 Jumpstart Grants to organizations in the state of Arizona and Greater Tampa Bay region.

As part of the second component of the workshops, these grants gave the opportunity for local groups to partner and take community-wide action on Aging in Place. Partners awarded partnerships, tied to the workshop communities in the Aging in Place Initiative, a small grant each to create an action plan to solve a problem relating to Aging in Place or an opportunity for the initiative to prosper in the community.
